Trump’s Would-be Assassin: Manifesto or Suicide by Cop?
Choose your poison. I’ve got my suspicions.

Several weeks have passed since a would-be assassin attempted to kill former President Trump. And still, though millions of people have their own opinions or latched onto various and sundry conspiracy theories, no one really has a clue to the motive behind this heinous crime that almost killed the former president and did kill an attendee at his rally.
Law enforcement really dropped the ball when former President Trump became the victim of attempted murder at an outdoor rally in Butler, PA. Personally, I’m very glad the shooter failed to accomplish his mission. Murder is never justified no matter how many times Trump himself has advocated shooting shoplifters on site in the supposed service of the restoration of law and order. The last thing this nation needs now is more political violence to divide us further. Political violence is never acceptable.
Various supporters present at the rally reported suspicious behavior to several law enforcement agencies. All reports fell on deaf ears.
They saw a man climb onto the roof of a warehouse, 400 yards away. Another saw him climb up using a ladder. Yet another spotted him in prone position with rifle at the ready, aimed in the direction of the rally stage.
All of these sightings occurred and were reported as much as 20 minutes before the 20 year-old Thomas Crooks pulled the trigger. He fired at least 8 bullets, barely grazing the former president’s ear, killing an innocent rally- goer in the stands and critically wounding two others.
To date, it remains a mystery how so many minutes could have ticked by without so much as any serious attention from so many law enforcement personnel. Even with so many reports of suspicious nature coming in real time, incredulously the Secret Service still allowed Trump to go on stage before the shooter was definitively located and disarmed. No wonder the far-right has spun another conspiracy theory out of this. Who done it? Was the Secret Service in on it? How about local law enforcement or the FBI? Choose your villain. You know the drill.
FBI Director Christopher Wray revealed in testimony before Congress on Wednesday that Crooks had googled information about how far away Lee Harvey Oswald was from JFK before the successful assassination of the 35th president, the youngest person to hold this office, in 1963.
